Column End

The Column End Fitting with Lipseal Feature is created to be a high performing piece of any gas chromatography system that joins two sizes of tubing - 1/8” and 1/16”. AFP’s Lipseal feature creates a face seal at the union body and the tip of the tube (when using pre-cut tubing), resulting in a real zero dead-volume fitting. Engineered out of high quality SS-316L, the Column End Fitting reduces the torque required to make proper connections as well as ease the plumbing inside a gc analyzer. The use of this Column End Fitting removes the need for welding at the end of typical packed columns in gas chromatographs and is designed with built-in filtration to prevent any damage or clogging in the valves.
